Senator John McCain did not win the 2008 Presidential Election for a few reasons. Many people were quite shocked and surprised because of the way that he had come up in the rankings of the Republican public court of opinion. Senator John McCain had run for the previous President Election and came close to becoming the Republican Nominee. Many people attribute his lost of that Presidential Election to a heated debate between him and former United States President George W. Bush. John McCain had come a very long way to be one of the top contenders in the 2008 Presidential Election. He started out his campaign with very little money, but did whatever he had to do to make it to the top. John McCain did not have the financial support as the other candidates at the start of his campaign, so as the other Presidential candidates of the 2008 Presidential Election climbed into their private jets to go to the next city, Senator John McCain said they he oftentimes had to take the bus to the next destination. Eventually John McCain was able to build a great rapport with the people and rise to the top of the polls to become the 2008 Presidential Election Republican Nominee. However, Senator John McCain was not able to snag the victory of winning the Presidential Election. There are a few key reasons as to why.

ONE
Senator John McCain did not win the 2008 Presidential Election because people did not believe that he would improve the economy. One of the main concerns that the American people were faced with was how we were going to be able to get out of the financial crisis that we were currently in. They just felt that the platform that John McCain had presented in this regard would not evoke the change that was necessary in order to improve the nation’s economy. His argument just was not strong enough to many people, so some even felt as though he did not really have a plan that would be influential enough.

TWO
Another reason why Senator John McCain did not win the 2008 Presidential Election was because they did not feel confident in his choice for his Vice-Presidential candidate. There were more and more things that were being discovered about former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin that were harmful to the message that they were trying hard to project. Many people did not want to see her have such an influence as to the rules and policies of the United States.

THREE
Senator John McCain did not win the 2008 Presidential Election because they wanted a drastic change in the health care system, and they did not feel that he offered that for the people. They wanted to vote for the candidate that they felt confident was going to make sure that everyone living on United States soil had viable access to health care for themselves and their families.
