Why Sarah Palin?

There was a tag team of Republican candidates that caused quite a stir in the 2008 Presidential Election. The Republican Presidential nominee for the 2008 Presidential Election was Senator John Sidney McCain III. The Republican Vice-Presidential nominee for the 2008 Presidential Election was Governor Sarah Louise Palin. John McCain followed his father’s legacy and was the fourth generation to enlist in the United States Navy. John McCain graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1958. Before the 2008 Presidential Election, John McCain was known mostly for his work in the U.S. Senate that started in 1986, after serving in the House of Representatives since 1982. John McCain had previously run for Presidential Election in 2000. He is said to have dropped in ranking from that election after a heated debate with George W. Bush. Now, with that rich history, some people were quite puzzled when John McCain chose to elect Sarah Palin as his Vice-Presidential candidate.
